Do I need the companion plugin?
No. Fernlight is a complete theme on its own. The companion plugin only adds optional editorial blocks and reading enhancements — install it when you want them.
How do I change the colors?
Open Appearance › Editor › Styles and pick one of the seven variations, or edit the palette directly. Every color on the site updates at once.
Is Fernlight free?
Yes — Fernlight is licensed under the GPL-2.0-or-later and will be listed free on WordPress.org.
