This site exists to showcase and support the Fernlight WordPress theme. We keep data collection to a minimum and do not sell personal information.
What we collect
Contact and feature-request forms collect the name, email address, subject, and message you provide. Submissions are stored in WordPress so we can handle your request and may include IP address, browser, and page information. Our host also keeps server logs for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies and fonts
The theme bundles self-hosted fonts. This website separately uses Google Analytics through Site Kit and Jetpack Stats to understand visits and site usage. These services process technical and usage information and may use cookies. See Google’s privacy policy and Automattic’s privacy policy. Embedded content and third-party checkout have their own processing practices.
Your rights
For access, correction, or deletion requests, use our contact form. Tell us which email address or interaction your request concerns so we can locate the relevant records.
Terms of use
This website and its demo content are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. We may update or remove content at any time. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
The Fernlight theme and Fernlight Companion plugin are free software (see License below). Nothing on this site is a guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose.
License & credits
Fernlight and Fernlight Companion are distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later. You are free to use, study, modify, and redistribute them under those terms.
Bundled fonts — Cormorant Garamond and DM Sans — are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Optional newsletter subscriptions are processed through MailerLite to deliver the updates you request; unsubscribe using the link in an email. Installing the theme or Companion does not require a newsletter subscription. Migrator downloads do not require an email address; download counters and server logs record technical usage. Earlier download-form submissions remain subject to your access and deletion rights.
Premium checkout, customer accounts, licensing, and update delivery are provided by Freemius under its privacy policy and purchase terms. The free Companion package contains no Freemius SDK. Premium licensing uses Freemius; sharing site context with an external AI assistant remains your choice.
